Hawaii Officials: Please Shoot the Deer

Calling all hunters! Hawaii state officials want your help eradicating axis deer on the Big Island. The deer were illegally brought over from one of the other islands and pose a serious threat to farms, ranches and forests. The AP reports:
The announcement comes after the Board of Land and Natural Resources voted Friday to allow licensed hunters to kill deer on public land on the Big Island without getting a special permit.
The state says there will be no restrictions on the days or seasons that deer may be hunted and no limits on the numbers that may be taken.Read the full story.
