Hawaii Governor Issues Tsunami Disaster Proclamation

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie has issued a disaster proclamation in connection with the anticipated tsunami. He’s declared a “disaster relief period” to run through Oct. 31 and activated the Hawaii National Guard for at least that time period.
