Big Island Police Arrest 9 in Drug Operation
Tips from the community led Hawaii County police to arrest nine people last week as part of a drug distribution operation in Puna.
Police served search warrants at three adjacent properties. KHON reports:
Police seized 321 marijuana plants, 96 clones, 98.8 pounds of dried marijuana, 2.5 grams of heroin, 125 grams of hashish, and 232 hydrocodone pills in indoor-growing operations at two of the properties.
Officials think that the indoor-growing site is part of a larger drug distributing operation. Read the full story.
