Two lead actors from the popular AMC television show Mad Men are coming to Hawaii next week to shoot footage for the sixth season, according to an uncomfirmed report on Deadline.com.
The Emmy-winning show, about an ad agency executive, is set in the 1960s, so the shoot could focus on longstanding Hawaii properties and locales that came into vogue after jets made the islands accessible to a generation of American tourists.
From the Deadline report:
Sources say it will involve actors Jon Hamm and Jessica Pare, who play husband and wife Don and Megan Draper on the ad agency show. The two, joined by a very small crew, are expected to leave Sunday. As usual, Mad Men mastermind Matt Weiner is keeping things close to the vest, but I hear that the scenes will be part of Mad Men‘s sixth-season premiere.
