So much for openness and transparency?
From our Landblog:
The Hawaii Public Utilities Commission has denied a request from PBN reporter Duane Shimogawa for an unredacted copy of the Lanai sales agreement between David Murdock and Larry Ellison.
The document was submitted to the PUC because regulators are reviewing the transfer of public utilities between the two parties.
Shimogawa submitted an open records request for the information earlier this month, stating that the development rights for the proposed Lanai wind farm, which are blacked out in the sales agreement, should be made public.
From the PUC:
In sum, the sealed portions of the sale agreement, dated May 2, 2012, as amended, which Applicants have designated as confidential, have not been declassified, nor has Applicants granted the Commission permission to disclose such information to PBN or you.
