Reason to resurrect that old conversation about a seat belt law for people riding in the backs of pickup trucks?

A teenage girl is in serious but stable condition after apparently falling out of the back of a pickup truck.

It happened at about 3:40 a.m. Friday in Ala Moana Beach Park.
