Shakas in Tampa: Hawaii GOP Helps Nominate Romney
Delegates from the Hawaii Republican Party helped nominate the Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan presidential ticket Tuesday (Aug. 28).
Capitol Watch reports:
Romney won the GOP’s Hawaii Presidential Caucus in March, winning nine of the 17 delegates. Rick Santorum won five delegates and Ron Paul won three.
Also today, the RNC approved a platform that bars all abortions, bans gay marriage, reshapes Medicare and rejects federal spending as way to fix the economy.
