Cayetano Released From Hospital
This just in from the Cayetano campaign HQ:
Former Gov. Ben Cayetano was released from Queens Medical Center at 5 p.m. today after suffering from bleeding ulcer that was discovered Sunday.
According to Cayetano’s campaign, the ulcer was cauterized Monday without any complications. He did not undergo surgery and did not need a blood transfusion.
How Cayetano rebounds for the Aug. 11 primary remains to be seen.
Campaign Manager Charlyn Honda-Masini said he will be resting “in the comfort of his own home” on Wednesday.
